Kru Live staffing continue to develop their relationship with Havas PR UK at Badoit’s pop-up event held in London’s prestigious Soho Square. Under the watchful eye of UK Brand Ambassador Maitre d Fred Sirieix, Badoit Express hosted the World’s First Picnic Restaurant.
Badoit Express began in Paris last year where a commuter train was hijacked by Badoit who presented unsuspecting passengers with a meal by Michelin star chef Thierry Marx. This time it aimed to surprise Londoners’ with a pop-up picnic to bring to life the brand’s effortless conviviality.
Kru Live were tasked to provide a team of 33 to support the gastronomic experience. The team consisted of silver service waiters with a performance background, hosts to welcome Badoit’s guests on arrival, personable security and a string quartet. The string quartet were provided by Kru Live’s sister agency Kru Talent International following a brief to suggest appropriate musicians who would add to the ambience and contemporary feel of the event. KruTalent called upon their highly experienced stringed foursome (who had recently played with Noah and the Whale, performed at Cannes Film Festival and toured with Mumford and Sons!) to deliver an unusual repertoire of modern songs. Their set list included hits from Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Rihanna.
