Friday 4th December
I am now coming up to the end of my 3-month internship here at Kru Talent and I can honestly say that from day one the whole team has gone above and beyond in making me feel welcome and ensuring that I am confident in all aspects of the job.
What I have very much enjoyed at Kru Talent is that no day is the same due to the constant influx of a wide range of bespoke events. A regular day involves attending our morning catch-up meeting, researching the latest cutting edge performers and acts , auditioning and scouting talent for upcoming themed events and my favourite task to date, interviewing over 40 Father Christmases.
I work closely with Hettie and Paula to brief our entertainers and ensure they have everything they need ahead of an event.
My most memorable day would be when Olivia and I attended the Kingston Christmas light switch on where we had four groups of themed entertainers performing: Christmas Carol walkabout characters, Caravan of lost souls, Fanshaw Emporium and Acapella Gents. It was really fantastic to be able to go and see how the event came together and also meet all our fantastic performers wowed the crowds.
Joining the team during the lead up to Christmas has meant that days have always been super busy with countless events and parties but I have thoroughly enjoyed the challenge of working in a fast paced environment.
Kru Talent is a great company to work with that made me feel right at home and has taught me a great deal about how the industry works. All members of both Kru Talent and Kru Live have contributed to the friendly and supportive office environment. I loved being part of the team!
